Our Vine List Wants
Grape Vines We Would Like to Acquire

Key: H=hybrid. B/W.=colour. T/W. table, wine, or suitable both purposes. This list is compiled from a variety of sources ,and is not exhaustive. Nor is the spelling certain to be correct. I am seeking varieties suitable for growing outside in the U.K., either for wine or dessert, and am particularly interested in disease resistance , hoping to have a range of varieties that need no spraying. Any new sorts from research stations or private breeders would be of particular interest. I am also collecting and trialling seedless varieties, both outside and in unheated polytunnels My vines constitute the National Collection, and results are recorded and made public. I would much appreciate any help I can get with obtaining these, or other worthwhile varieties for adding to the collection and trialling. I now have over 500 varieties in the collection, and wish, if possible, to confine further trails to varieties likely to succeed.
